Ford Aussie Hoops - Brisbane is program designed as an introduction to basketball for kids aged 4 to 11 years. The program is split into three groups including Learners (4-7 years), Legends (7-11 years), and Legends League (8-11 years) and is run over 9-weeks. All programs are coordinated by trained coaches who share their own passion with the game of basketball. Participants are taught how to enjoy the sport and play the game fairly, while simultaneously preparing them for junior club competitions.
In Legends League, participants are introduced to the game environment. The focus is to start to build game sense in preparation to move onto the club competitions.
