Social Competitions

Brisbane Basketball Inc. is the association that runs and facilitates Junior, Senior and Representative competitions at Auchenflower Stadium. We are the largest Junior Domestic competition in Queensland with over 350 teams and 4,000 participants across all competitions.

We have Senior Social competitions that operate over a 20-week Summer and Winter season. We have multiple divisions to cater for veteran players, former professionals, and beginners. Our senior competitions feature a range of club associated teams as well as individually nominated teams.

Game times each night are 6pm, 6:50pm, 7:40pm, 8:30pm, 9:20pm.

• June 12th : Team Nominations Close
• July 6th : Round 1
• Nov 23rd : Final regular season round
• Nov 30th : Round 1 playoffs
• Dec 14th : Grand Finals

FEES:

Individual Registration Cost - Player Competition Fee (paid at point of registration on Basketball Connect)

• Senior Competition Fee (per competition played) | $67.50
• Basketball Queensland (annually) | $91.47
• Basketball Australia (annually) | $5.50

Game Fees (per team per game)

• COHA SBL Game Fees | $123.00

Nomination Fees (paid when nominations close on TeamPay or Invoice)

• COHA SBL (Season 2, 2026) | $107.50

Steps to follow:

1. Click link and select ‘new team registration’
2. Select your teams division > Sign up to competition
3. Under person registering role select ‘Player’ if you intend on playing or ‘team manager/coach’ if you do not intend on playing in this team.
4. Fill out details including team name.
5. Click ‘add team member’ button > 2026 BQ Player – Player > Fill in relevant details > Continue for all team members > Next
6. Fill in ‘additional information’ > click ‘Sign up to competition ’
7. Agree to terms and conditions > Continue
8. Payment > Submit
