REGISTRATIONS TO GIRLS TEAM SELECTION CAMPS – NOW OPEN

Under 16 – GIRLS Teams (Players born 2012 & 2013) -
 

• Team Selection Camp #1: Sunday August 30th - 8:00am to 3:00pm @ Auchenflower Stadium 

  (Identified Athletes from the first selection camp will be invited to the 2nd selection camp)

   

• Team Selection Camp #2:  Sunday September 6th - Time and Venue TBD

Under 16 – BOYS Pre-Trial (Players born 2012 & 2013) - 

• Pre-Trial Event Saturday August 22nd - 6:00pm to 8:00pm @ Auchenflower Stadium
  • Male players who have NOT played in a BQ (or other State) representative competition (SQJBC or State Champs) in the past 12 months are required to attend the Pre-Trial Event if they seek selection to an U16 boys representative team.
  • Only Identified players from the Pre-Trial Event will be invited via email to attend the U16 Boys Team Selection Camp.
• IMPORTANT: Only Invited Players are permitted to attend the U16 Boys Team Selection Camp (August 30th and September 6th).

BOYS Selection Trials are invite only

Invited players includes:

• All 2012 & 2013 Athletes that played state level representative competition (SQJBC); and tournaments (SQJBC Grading or State Championships).
• All Brisbane Capitals athletes who competed with Capitals in the past 12 months will receive an invite to the U16 TSC via email.
• Athletes from different Associations who competed in representative basketball in past 12 months should email repsupport@brisbanebasketball.com.au to request an invite and discuss both the Capitals Selection Eligibility criteria, and BQ Player Transfer requirements
• Identified Athletes 2012 & 2013 from the August 22nd Pre-Trial Event.

BOYS Selection Trials

UNDER 16 TEAM SELECTION CAMP DETAILS

• TRIAL REGO FEE: $55.00 trial fee (GST inclusive)

  • When registering through Basketball Connect, you may be required to pay additional BQ Membership Fees if your child's registration will expire during the registration window for this program.

   

• WHAT TO BRING
• Basketball (named)
• Towel
• Brisbane Capital Reversible Training Singlet (or reversible club singlet)
• Drink Bottle and food for in between sessions
• Change of Shirt / Reversible
• Change of shoes/socks 

• To avoid dust/water on our courts, please Do Not wear your basketball shoes from outside the stadium (change into them once in the stadium).

   

• Missing a Trial Session:
  • If a player is not able to attend one or more of the trial sessions, but still seeks to be considered for selection, Please email Repsupport@brisbanebasketball.com.au
